OKLAHOMA CITY --- The 2009 Amateur Softball Association (ASA) National Championship may be over but the memories can live on in the National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum in Oklahoma City. If you snapped the best action shot of the championship season, you could have it displayed in the national championship exhibit in the museum.

Through Friday, Oct. 16, the ASA is taking 2009 ASA National Championship photo submissions at www.asasoftball.com/tournaments/photocontest.asp from athletes, parents and spectators across the country. Photos must be submitted with a dimension of at least 8 inches by 10 inches but can have a file size of no larger than 3 megabytes.

Not only will the best photo submitted be displayed prominently in the National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum in Oklahoma City, the winner will also receive an autographed item from a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team that won a silver medal in Beijing. The winning photo will be selected by a panel of staff members from the national office.

By submitting a photo through the Web site www.asasoftball.com, you are giving ASA the permission to use your photo in the National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum as well as ASA print and online publications, no matter the outcome of the contest.

If you have a question about the contest, please contact Marketing and Communications Coordinator Jamie Blanchard at jblanchard@softball.org.
